I find the act of translation moving. The idea that something abides, from one language to another, and the humility and patience of the translator. Theater is on one level terribly local and provincial, you have to be there to see it, and there is so often where you live. This is wonderful. But it is also terrible. And so I wanted to share these translations, hoping that unforeseen connections might transpire, and to honor the work of the translators.
